Andy held the position of Global CIO for Save the Children International, the world’s leading organization for children, for four years. Save the Children’s mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children, and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. Currently, he serves as Global CIO, Logistics at HAVI, an international logistics and supply chain organization.

While serving at Save the Children, Andy worked closely with senior business leaders, IT teams across 50+ countries and strategic partners to create and deliver a new global IT strategy for the organization. He also strengthened internal and external IT resources and key processes and tools required to deliver a new ‘IT Ambition’ for Save the Children.

His team at Save focused on delivery of an Enterprise Information Architecture for the first time in the history of the organization and completion of a series of IT-enabled business change programs, increasing efficiency and effectiveness, improving the quality of services delivered to children and enabling entirely new ways of working among staff, volunteers and business partners. The team also supported the establishment of an Ebola Treatment Centre in Sierra Leone.

Before joining NetHope member organization Save the Children, Andy was the European IT and shared business services leader at Unilever. He has also worked at IBM, KPMG and Accenture in various transformation consulting roles in Europe and India.
