Cynthia Currence has deep experience in fund development and strategic marketing for nonprofit organizations with additional expertise in brand strategy development, strategic corporate alliances, sponsorship, and special populations engagement.

As the National Director of Philanthropy, Currence offers major donors a transformative experience as they partner to help kids in poverty realize their full potential. Currence has a strong background in philanthropic work. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Marketing, Development and Communications at Women for Women International. She has also served in key development leadership roles at World Vision, Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, United Way and American Cancer Society.

She earned a Master’s degree in Education from The Citadel, Charleston, SC, and a B.A. in Psychology from Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan.
