Erik Arnold is an information technology professional with over 18 years of experience in IT leadership, business technology, and systems integration. He joined Microsoft Philanthropies as the Chief Technology Officer for the Tech for Social Impact team in October 2017. Prior to this role, Erik was the Chief Information Officer for PATH for eight years, where he oversaw for the organization’s software development, network infrastructure, project and portfolio management. Before PATH, Erik served as Vice President of Technology at Corbis, an e-commerce company in the digital media space. He brings strategic leadership in business and technology along with extensive experience with business systems implementation.
Erik is active in the local and national technology community. He is on the advisory boards for the Seattle Technology Executive Peer Group, the Seattle CIO Forum, and is a member of CIO4Good, the HealthTech Council, InsideNGO, and NetHope. He also sits on the board for the Comprehensive Health Education Foundation.
Erik holds a MA from Brown University.
