NetHope Monitoring Typhoon Bopha - Philippines

We at NetHope have been closely monitoring the situation in Philippines following the passing of Typhoon Bopha (local name Pablo). The latest information we have is that over 5,000,000 people are affected and close to 350,000 people are living in evacuation centers (see attached situation report). Based on a meeting of NetHope’s Emergency Response Working Group, it has been decided to activate the NetHope emergency response group.
