Esther Grieder

Esther joined NetHope in July, 2024 as the Director of Membership Engagement. She is responsible for shaping an impactful, relevant, engaging, and exciting experience for our nonprofit Members.

Prior to joining NetHope, Esther was the Global Communities & Partnerships Lead for the Humanitarian Leadership Academy (HLA), working with the organization as it evolved from a start-up to a mature service used by 700k+ humanitarians worldwide. Among other things, Esther was responsible for setting up organizational systems, establishing partnerships with nonprofits of all sizes, developing a certification platform used by over thirty organizations, and establishing the HLA’s approach to engaging and connecting its community of learners and their organizations.

Esther has also held roles at Save the Children, Restless Development and Camfed, and holds a BA from the University of Bristol and an MA from King’s College London in History. She is a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit, who loves the challenge of a big multi-stakeholder initiative and enjoys figuring out how people and organizations can team up to turn good ideas into great social initiatives!
