Langson Samala

Langson Samala is the Project Manager of Field and Impact Programs at NetHope. He manages key project management processes essential for the delivery of projects to our Members and partners. He supports managing program budgets in collaboration with the finance team. He also ensures that workplans and deliverables are efficiently completed at a high standard of quality and in full compliance with NetHope and donor policies. This coordination role also provides a layer of consistency and professional cohesion throughout NetHope’s activities. 

Prior to joining NetHope, Langson worked at the International Potato Center (CIP), a member of the CGIAR. He has over 5 years of experience designing and implementing large multiyear projects funded by institutional donors, including USAID, EU, FCDO/DFID, Irish Aid, GIZ and UKRI. He has led budgeting, workplan development, financial reporting, contract management, donor reporting and engagement, partner management, and management of knowledge hubs. He is a certified Project Management Professional and Agile Certified Practitioner. Langson has an MBA from Unicaf University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Mzuzu University in Malawi.
