Yamikani Nyang’wa-Givah

Yamikani Nyang’wa-Givah is the Senior Manager for Institutional Philanthropy at NetHope. In this role, she has the responsibility of maintaining and growing the institutional support pipeline for the organization from foundations and government sources, by cultivating and stewarding relationships with current and new funders.

Yamikani joined NetHope in August 2023. She is an experienced fundraiser and development manager, with over 8 years of experience in fundraising, partnership building, strategy development, and community development. She has worked in various sectors, including Education, Health and Nutrition, WASH and Agriculture. She has worked with various multilateral donors and institutional partners while developing successful proposals and working across teams to raise resources.

Her previous experience was as an Institution Fundraising and Partnership Officer at Edukans Foundation, and more experience at organizations such as Story Workshop Educational Trust, and Oxfam Australia. She has a bachelor’s degree in development studies from University of Adelaide in Australia and a Master of Science in Development Management from the Open University UK.
