The questions we ask, and data we collect, are only preliminary steps in obtaining the information we need to better serve our stakeholders. In this session we will look at tools and techniques for collecting data in a mobile, field context, that we can use to create powerful map-based data visualization dashboards.
Integrating mobile data collection into powerful GIS analytical tools helps us to answer questions related to our operations, to adjust operations quickly based on new insights, and to plan for the adaptation and design of future programs. We will focus on Direct Relief's use of Esri's Survey123 form-centric mobile data collection tool for health projects in Mexico as well as other tools and projects being used in the development and aid space.
