Marena Brinkhurst
Marena is the Program Manager with the Community Team at Mapbox, a mapping technology company, where she supports collaborations with organizations that are working for positive social and environmental impact. Marena's background is in planning, natural resource management, and working with Indigenous and rural communities on land and resource tenure systems and rural community development.
Marena was part of Namati's Community Land Protection Program from 2014-2017. Marena has also worked with First Nations in Canada in participatory community planning efforts. Marena holds a Masters in Natural Resource Management (Planning) from Simon Fraser University and a B.Sc. in Environmental Sciences (Economics and Policy) from the University of Guelph.
Peter Solar
At PATH, Peter is responsible for building private sector partnerships with focus on innovation, sustainability and shared value in global health. Working with leading technology and life sciences companies, Peter helps connect PATHs global health expertise with private sector assets that enable sustained health impact at scale.
Prior to joining PATH, Peter worked for an impact-led investor, Global Partnerships, and led international programs and capacity building efforts at SEE International, a humanitarian eye care organization.
Peter holds a bachelors degree in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability from Copenhagen Business School.
