About this webinar
Every day, 2.5 quintillion bytes of data is generated globally. According to IDC, the amount of data created over the next three years will be more than the data created over the past 30 years combined. Yet, much of the data that could be used for the benefit of the society and our planet remains untapped, some of which is due to the lack of data sharing.
Sharing data across organizations and stakeholder groups is central to creating inclusive, sustainable, and relevant solutions to some of the toughest problems individuals and communities face. With the rise of data-dependent technologies such as AI, demand for data sharing has only grown.
In this webinar, we will explore examples of practices, policies, and tools that are being deployed today to share data in a responsible and impactful way. We’ll discuss how to enable responsible data sharing using data catalogues and synthetic data, how to share data with data owners (e.g., communities), how to ensure interoperability of both policies and tools, and how to enable human-centered, privacy-first, and secure data sharing.
