As Artificial Intelligence (AI) is dramatically changing the world, the humanitarian sector needs to navigate a way forward that harnesses its potential to strengthen humanitarian practice while mitigating potential challenges and risks. NetHope is proud to be working with the UK Humanitarian Innovation Hub (UKHIH) to document and share case studies on the use of AI technologies to address the many challenges in the humanitarian sector. The intent is that they will serve as a resource for humanitarian organizations interested in implementing similar AI solutions, providing insights, lessons learned, and best practices for the benefit of these organizations and the overall sector.
The first case study introduces DEEP (Data Entry and Exploration Platform), with our thanks to Joel Myhre and the DEEP team for sharing their journey, experiences and learnings.
