NetHope is thrilled to announce its two newest Members: Orbis and The Asia Foundation.
The Asia Foundation and Orbis join the nearly 60 leading nonprofit Members that make up the NetHope community, united with ground-breaking technology partners and visionary donors.
We are pleased that The Asia Foundation and Orbis have decided to join the NetHope community, says Lance Pierce, NetHope CEO. Both organizations are doing life-transforming work within local communities across the globe and have decades of experience making a positive impact on peoples lives. Its a privilege to have this opportunity to unite with them.
At NetHope, we believe we can reach more people more effectively when we collaborate and learn from one another. To have the expertise of both Orbis and The Asia Foundation under the NetHope umbrella benefits our whole community. Our aim is for the NetHope Member experience to be uniquely valuable and a driver of their organizations positive impact in the world.
Orbis and The Asia Foundation were elected by NetHope Members on Wednesday 7 April. They share NetHopes vision to utilize the power of technology to improve lives across the globe. Their contributions will add to the collective action of the NetHope Membership, as we unite together for a sustainable future for our planet and its people.

With our network of partners, we mentor, train and inspire entire local eye care teams from health workers in rural clinics to eye surgeons in urban centers so they can work together to save and restore vision in their communities, ensuring no one has to face a life of avoidable blindness. Working in collaboration with local partners, including hospitals, universities, government agencies and ministries of health, Orbis provides hands-on ophthalmology training, strengthens healthcare infrastructure and advocates for the prioritization of eye health on public health agendas.
